Artist Statement/Explanation of Work:
These pieces work in dialogue; less a collaboration than a conversation. Taking a series of letraset-based visual poems by beaulieu, Schulze-Wollgast has replied to each in a typewriter-based visual poem, echoing the structure, form or material of the originals. Each pieces echoes through dead media as a dance among friends.
